It might be nice to tell the local newspapers all about planting your Bulbs4Kids bulbs. Most newspapers like to publish articles in about what is going on in the local area, and your school could be in the spotlight. As a participating class, it’s easy to send out a press release to the local newspaper(s). We have already done a lot of the work for you, so the rest should be simple. Follow these steps and maybe your school could be in the local newspaper too. Good luck!
- Take a nice picture of your class planting the bulbs.
- Fill in the missing information in the press release and then use your imagination to fill in the rest.
- Use Google to search for the e-mail addresses of the local newspapers in your area.
- Send the text and the photos to the e-mail addresses.
- Did it work? Are you in the paper? That’s great! Please can you send us the photos too?
