The most important flower bulbs

For a long time, tulips, daffodils and hyacinths were the most important flower bulbs. Many people think this is still so, but much has changed. The tulip may still rank first in importance (almost half of all the bulb fields are full of tulips), but now in second place are lilies followed by daffodils, hyacinths and gladioli.
